2018 IBA Opponent Predictions

The past few years we've seen Utah, OSU, OU...makes you think they'll do everything they can to get a great opponent for downtown once again.

I could see a Big XII-II opponent or a Pac 12. Maybe a TCU, Arizona State...or maybe this is the year we finally see Creighton once again? *cue dramatic music

What do y'all think?

Who is your dream opponent for IBA? I think Nova would be tops for me.

Would love a high profile game , but with the rebuild I suspect the Shox are having trouble finding opponents both because they don't want to schedule someone too good have the youngin's receive a whoppin' and because good teams might no want to take the risk of playing WSU in a, potential, down year (for several reasons).

Would love someone like WVU or Xavier, but expect to be disappointed with a UAB or Southern Miss.

Yeah they could end up doing that to ease up on a young team, but then again, the optimist in me thinks we'll be pleasantly surprised with a good opponent.

No frickin way coach is turning away any quality opponent to keep the boys from getting schooled. Not buying it.

It has already been announced that Gene Stephenson will be inducted into the Shocker Sports Hall of Fame during halftime of the Intrust game on December 15.

Kinda disappointing if that falls through. You'd think a lot of people would wanna get a shot at us in a "rebuilding year".
