Look at this way, the spring and early summer was hopping with things to talk about, some good, some surprising, and some not so good.

Now that all of that has past, the seemingly quiet is deafening. I'm sure part of the silence has to do with having so many new players this year and too few recruits to talk about for next year, or the following year for that matter. Hoping for more reports on the team from you Cold (thank you) and others like Signman (thank you, too).

Some might try widening their interests. Like our nationally respected volleyball program and I believe HCKA is going to do great things with the women's basketball and we're in the right conference for that.

Surprisingly, A&M fans are SOOOOOOOOO much worse than UT fans. Never would of thought it before I moved to Texas. Also looking forward to some cheap basketball tickets. No one around here cares about basketball, so I bet I can get some pretty good bball tickets on the cheap.

We are a victim of our own success.

We've slain the giant (again) - and it's currently living in the gutter with a bad case of Herpes.

We've upgraded conferences.

We aren't scared of losing our coach anymore.

We have legit NBA caliber recruits showing up on campus.

All that's really left is a Natty and a Lunker.

Cold, after seeing Humphries playing for Kentucky after some here thought he was gonna be a lunker, I think AM will be as good as he became. Maybe not until his junior year but Humphries failed to impress in the end.
