  • New APR guidelines not good for K-State

If the new APR guidelines were in affect last year, K-State would have been one of 12 teams not allowed to participate in the NCAA tournament.

Hopefully this information is passed on to Perry, who I'm sure would like to be in the big dance, but also takes school very seriously.

I think you mean would have been part of the 12 teams not allowed...

Is the APR guideline in affect for this year? If it is seems like it will increase our chances of making the dance.

No, the selection committee would simply add another Big 10, ACC and a couple of Pac 10 teams. If the Big XII stays as it is, they will simply take Texas Tech and Iowa State before a deserving Valley team.... :-x  :(

Good news, this works doubly bad for Missouri State, the perrenial biatch of the NCAA selection committee.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.
