  • 2019 Cancun Challenge

    Not sure if this has ever been brought up before, quick search didn't find anything.

    WSU, UNI, WVU, and South Carolina so far.

      It looks like there are two divisions but we will only play teams from our division, so two games.

    Please oh please draw UNI first game so they can piss pound them for old time sake!

      I'm 99% sure old MVC foes narrative and the old kstatecoaches narrative will play out..

        Based on previous years, including when WSU last played in it, the format is usually two games at home sites (in our case, against lower level competition), then two games at the tournament, via 4-team divisional bracket.

              Riviera Division (Host) Teams (4): South Carolina Gamecocks (SEC), UNI Panthers (MVC), West Virginia Mountaineers (Big 12), Wichita State Shockers (American)

              Mayan Division (Visiting) Teams (4): UT Martin Skyhawks (OVC), 3 TBA

                I’m interested in attending this tourney. Has anyone ever gone and not stayed at the hard rock? Any overwhelming reason to stay at the hard rock? Any advise is appreciated.
