Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”

My beginning of summer absolute guesses for this team next season:
- If Allen gets the waiver to play next season I think we will be top 3 in the AAC and a 6/8 seed. Scoring will be more of a challenge next season. Enter “Buckets”.
- W/O Allen I think we will be top 5 in AAC and on the bubble.
- Dexter Dennis is my candidate for sleeper freshmen pick
- Chance Moore is my candidate for player most likely to transfer out next summer. We all know at least one will leave. A lot of mouths to feed...
- Erik Stevenson will average 10 ppg. Bear God will not.
- Come AAC tournament time we will be that hot team no one wants to see in the first couple rounds.
- Even if we don’t make the tourney I will enjoy seeing the progress and flashes of the future throughout the year.
- We start 2019 in the top 25

McDaniel found a mentor in Wichita when he arrived as a freshman in 1981 from Columbia, S.C. He enjoys telling the story of playing pickup games at (then) Levitt Arena and wondering about an older man who played the game really, really well.
McDaniel asked his name and teammate Cliff Levingston pointed to Dave Stallworth's jersey hanging from the rafters. Stallworth, who played for the Shockers from 1961-65, scored 1,936 points and played eight NBA seasons. He lived in Wichita after his NBA career ended and became a friend to the Shockers of the early 1980s.
"I was like 'This old man is killing us, so somebody's got to pick it up," McDaniel said. "Dave always gave us courage. When we would go through bad stretches, he was always there."
