Not a whole lot of discussion happening at this time. So, I thought I would bring up Clevin and how he's doing.
I've gotten the chance to see him several times this off season. Once in action on the court.
He's better than we remember. In pickup he was destroying the opposition from 3. He probably made 10 out of 12 or so, I don't really remember. It was nuts. Several of them were NBA range as well. In fact, I venture to say that most of them were that far back.
Also, he was displaying his craftiness. Everyone had a difficult time guarding him. Never knowing if he was going to go left or right. To the screen or away from the screen.
The bad thing about this was that he was carrying the ball everyyyy time. That's why no one knew if he was gonna pull up and shoot or crossover and drive past them.
Either way, he was dominate. He also got a kick out of how Evan Wessel shoots the ball (one footed fade-away). He practiced it the entire time he was sitting out between games. Over that half hour or so he had seemingly mastered that art. I was impressed.
Those are some of the things that I had the chance to observe.
The real reason I thought to make this thread though was to mention that he recently moved up in the realm of euro-basketball. He was hired by a team in Finland. Karhu is the name.
Clevin tore up Romania last year. I'm not sure how prestigious this Finland team is or isn't, but I'm pretty certain that he's being paid better by Karhu.
