  • PR Tipoff matchups announced tomorrow?

Alabama fan says the matchups will be announced tomorrow on espn3 at 11 a.m. eastern. Nothing on the ESPN3 site yet, but they sometimes add stuff to the menu on the day of air.

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Alabama will be a extremely tough team this year. I would love to face them again in the finals of this tournament. 8) :posterwu:

Alabama should be a pre-season top 10-15 team this year. It would be a huge win if we get a chance to play them.

Winner of our game gets the Alabama/Maryland winner. Very odd bracketing.

So we'll play Tad ... then either Turg or Alabama ... should be interesting.

No seeding used here. This schedule was made for TV. I'd like to think that the two weakest teams are both in the upper bracket.

All I can say is that we got our wish with our first two games being quality RPI teams regardless how the first game turns out. Now its time for the Shocks to get'r done.

Being played at the 18,000-season Coliseo de Puerto Rico, the largest indoor arena in Puerto Rico
That arena has been around for a loooooooong time!

It'll be kind of cool to play a Tad Boyle coached team. Too bad we can't do it in Wichita. That would be fun.

But at least we shouldn't have to worry about it failing to be good for RPI purposes like Maui turned out. Bring on the Buffs!!!

Why are "Thanksgiving" tournaments not played around Thanksgiving?

Travel would be so much easier if the games were the following week.
