There was corruption long before one and done came into existence, and I expect there to be corruption after they are eliminated. My problem with one and done is, it makes a mockery out of the whole idea of "student athlete".

Another positive reform idea is enforcement. My understanding is that outside people (judges, etc.) will be hired that don’t have any stake in it to judge and fairly enforce rules breakers. UK, KU and UCLA will all be fairly judged and shams left behind.

That was the point I was trying to make, but you said it better. Just getting rid of the one and done rule won't completely eliminate corruption. There's no one silver bullet, we have empty the whole magazine into CBB.

Without subpoena power investigators will still be hamstrung.

Some people continue to mention shoe companies. The reforms also reform relationships with shoe and apparel companies.

Getting rid of that will fix most of the problem, but there'd still be opportunity and incentive for over zealous "entrepreneurs" to take advantage of the best college players. So let's not just fix just part of the problem, let's do it right the first time and fix it all.
The one and done does contribute to the level and magnitude of corruption, but I think the root cause is they shoe companies, the AAU programs/tournaments they sponsor and the money they throw at players. If you don't deal with those issues, it going to continue.

OK, I see your point. I can agree with that. After all, if one and dones were drafted straight outta high school, the shoe companies would still prey on the best college players, and then--even worse--the best high school kids.
