J.T. Durley deserves a start. He might be really effective because he will be ultra fresh!

Cooz, Braeuer, Durley, Thomasson, and Clemente for 3-5 minutes.

P.S. You don't reward players who haven't been effective, that's a recipe for digging yourself an early hole. You bring slumping players off the bench to ease the pressure, you don't put them in at the start of a game.

Ok, then bench Gal, but starting a player that hasn't shown anything during a game this year isn't a very good idea. What would JT Durley think? Being one of the top players off the bench all season, then getting passed over for a starting job for a guy who's averaging just under 3 points and 2 boards a game. You may gain some confidence for Mantas, but JT loses it. If you really want to gain some Mantas confidence, start giving him some extra minutes instead of throwing into a role that he hasn't earned.

My take is JT will start. Get the kid more minutes and have him settle into a rythm were he doesn't feel he has to get his points all at once. Or maybe they have been hiding Orupke and he starts tonight.

Well Clemente did get 9 boards.......

As for the crowd, we didn't embarrass anybody, but it looked like there were about 7 or 8 Shocker fans for every UMKC fan..... Had to be less than 2,000 total there....
