We are lucky LSU is weaker this year or this years team woulden't have much of a chance against LSU.

We could have some serious matchup problems against LSU. = Bookend 6'11s that run the floor "like a deer". One of them was one of the top recruits in the country last year, and the team as a whole is VERY athletic. I watched this guy run the ball down the floor like a PG on a transition, stop and pop from 17 feet and knock it down like Jamal Tatum... Our front line will have their work cut out for them (understatement).

Against Villanova a couple of weeks ago, they had 12 blocks in the first half, and held Villanova to just two points in the first 6 or 7 minutes (a goal tending call). Villanova eventually came back and won the game.

The Shox can win, but it will have to be their best effort of the year to date. Everyone will have to show up including the players that haven't shown up yet... Will have to be cliking on all cylinders with the Marshall Plan in overdrive....

An interesting stat - its Drake's first road win there since 67. Also, if I recall correctly, Iowa did not take a single FT the entire game.

Drake’s last win in Iowa City, a 74-65 success on Dec. 16, 1967, came at the Fieldhouse before a crowd of 12,922.
