Sean Ogirri Update

Sean Ogirri (188-G-86, college: Wyoming) and his Porto Ferpinta put an end to Benfica dominance in the Portuguese basketball. The Dragons overcame their archrivals in the decisive seventh game of the title series to dethrone Benfica and claim the LPB title. Sean Ogirri came up with 25 points to pace Porto to the triumph.

Sean will be heading home soon and will work out to try to make the Dominican Republic National Team. He averaged 12.5 for the year and 17 for the championship series including his 25 in the title game.

I mean does he have parents that were from there? & will he have to get dual citizenship? But still that is a truly awesome chance that he gets to have.

A lot of small countries don't require much. If you can prove to have ancestry of some kind they'll let you play. I don't know if one of his parents were born there or not.
