Interesting Stats from Synergy

Broke down and bought the intro level for synergy sports. Found some interesting stats going to share some of them

In overall defence RN is in the 6th percentile the worst defender on the team.
Kelly is in the 19th percentile on overall defence, I was very shocked by this wondering if this because he is usually matched up with one of the other teams better players or I think he may overhelp which leads him to leave his man open.
Conner is terrible in isolation defence 2nd percentile but overall is in the 43rd percentile.

I have a friend who was a coach and I've seen their site. They quite literally break down every single play into 100s of categories. It's amazing. I think the programs pay from 10k-50k a year for full blown information.

So does that mean that the SN faithful could earn that kind of change just by eye balling a team and know they suck on defense?

Basically they log every play that happens in a basketball game and coaches can then watch video of say every made jump shot Landry Shamet has made in the last 5 games or every turnover or every time he scored in pick n roll. They can find any set of plays from any player in any conference in about 20 sec. It really revolutionized the way games were scouted. The fan version doesn't support video just the stats.
