I have a feeling it may be filled in house for one year, but not necessarily by a player from last year.

        EDIT:Sorry about the typo

Did anyone else notice the grammatical errors throughout? There was one in the opening sentence. :-\

              Nice info though.

The Eagle writers are quite capable of slaughtering the King's English and frequently do.

It is somewhat amazing and disconcerting that writers can graduate from college with a journalism degree and have such a poor grasp of composition and grammar.

I imagine that the editors threw up their hands long ago.

What ever became of this 6'8" recruit we were going to sign? Speaking of such riveting themes, I am hoping to catch some summer scrimmages now that the players are arriving. If any of you do the same, please give us a report on the synopsis of your observations. Comparing notes will be sublime.

It was just an observation. The Eagle is a joke of a newspaper compared to others around the country, and if anyone ever doubts that statement, they can simply read the lead beat writer's column. An instead of A before a vowel is something that is taught in rudimentary English classes. Its not college level grammar. That means that the writer and the editor both overlooked those errors. How that got to print is beyond me.

I said it was a nice piece after I mentioned the grammatical errors. I just think its funny that The Eagle is losing readership, and I hope they aren't scratching their head as to why.

Anymore in newspapers because of cutbacks and falling revenue, the writer is the editor in terms of checking the articles....it's not unusual to only have a single set of eyes look over an article in detail

It's been rumored that Dofo is serving an internship at the Eagle.

I think WSU brought in some outstanding young coaches. I wish all the current coaches would stick around once WSU really blows up.. and stays up there.

Is there anyway that this can be considered a positive?

Apparently our NIT Championship run wasn't as inviting to possible recruits as we had hoped it would be, at least not for this recruiting period.
