WSU Versus Tulane Predictions and Pregame Discussions
"Wichita State battled through a rocky January initiation into the American Athletic Conference, but Gregg Marshall has his Shockers rounding into shape as March nears. Winners of four straight -- including a mammoth road win over league leading Cincinnati on Sunday to put them at 4-1 in February -- the Shockers return home on Wednesday to try and keep their hot streak rolling against a Tulane team in the midst of a nosedive.
The Green Wave have won just three games since the new year and carry their own streak into Wednesday night's tilt: a five-game losing skid. Unlike the Shockers, though, I'm sure coach Mike Dunleavy Sr. would be glad to snap his team's streak.
The No. 13 Shockers are a heavy 19.5 point favorite heading into the contest, and while there's a pretty good chance the home team could lay the wood on the floundering Green Wave.
Also, the intrigue will be upped a notch as Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall and Tulane coach Mike Dunleavy will wear microphones on them which should provide some insightful audio for CBS Sports Network. Viewing information

No Landry, uhh, just when we were getting our groove back. Conner and Austin will need to have good games and stay out of foul trouble. We will probably see some SHJones tonight. Jones just needs to take care of the ball and not worry about scoring.
First half we looked pretty solid but got outscored the 2nd half. Quite an astute prediction by the Good Doc here. Just glad we escaped with the win. As usual, on the cold and lonely road we will need at least 30 minutes of solid execution on both sides of the hardwood to keep from getting swept by a team that plays real real good at home.
