Correct. Success creates too many parking problems and post-game traffic nightmares.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

So, EM, how do you like the choice of Geno Ford? Big project in front of him or immediate success???

Ford has just about everything that BU was looking for - charisma, head coaching experience, history as a player... I like the choice because Ford will be patient. BU won't be very good next season, but I like their recruits and I think Dyricus Simms-Edwards is one of the most electric players in the league. Jordan Prosser should be All-MVC by the time he finishes.

BU probably won't win more than 6 or 7 games this season, but I like what they look like for the 2012-13 season. Overall, a good hire. Steep price tag, but good qualities... everyone I have conversed with likes him, and believes he will put BU back on the map.

Didn't Drake fans say similar things about Phelps after he was hired? (Of course, Ford has a better background. However I think you get more value with a Mazda.)
Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

Phelps didn't have any head coaching experience at all coming in. Even though DU has been 7-11 in all three of his seasons, I think better days are ahead. Phelps is an excellent recruiter IMO...

He can't coach his way out of a paper bag, so I don't think it really matters how well he recruits. Plus, there has been some on-going suspicion (including among Drake fans themselves) that his recruiting success may be the result of practices that are less than above board. Hard to know if it is true, but it is also hard to believe that a coach could continue to be very successful as a recruiter without any on court success over while being clean over the long term.
