Poll Results from question about coaches

The fact that anybody voted for Lowery is ample demonstration that thus was just for fun and a time-filler (or killer) during the offseason.

In addition to some voters obviously not taking this seriously, there's the "popularity contest" that's always an element in polls like this. For Marshall and WSU to seem ranked a little low in polls like this demonstrates that other teams' fans don't like WSU or Marshall. I think that's a good thing.

I bet if there was a poll like this for baseball coaches, that Mean Gene, aka Krusty, would probably finish last, which isn't much of an indication of his ability to coach in the league.

Aargh, the votes on the non-SN websites (see three posts above) have Marshall as second choice. I don't think that shows a bias against Marshall or WSU, just that the majority like Jacobson more.

I mentioned the paranoia of MArshall leaving earlier. Does this mean that. N. IA, Omaha, & Misery State can be crossed off as possible destinations for our coach?
It seems that Marshall has been a prospect to coach in TX to the Carolina's & all points in between. It kind of seems like the Valley should be doing better if he's only the 4th best option in that league.
