An earlier article, published in September 2017
This wasn’t a surprise. Really, it was a formality. Three days after Sidney Wilson received his release from St. John’s — just over three months after the four-star Bronx wing committed to the Big …
"St. John’s believes there was tampering of some sort with Wilson when he was on scholarship, but doesn’t plan to investigate it. Asked for comment, Mullin referred to his original statement when Wilson decided to leave, which wished him well. Because he took classes at St. John’s this summer, Wilson will have to sit out the coming season, barring an unexpected waiver from the NCAA"

1. You're expecting facts on a message board?
2. The lives of SN'ers would be pretty much pointless if gossip and hearsay were banished.
Let me give you some examples:
KU athlete being investigated for
[ ] Illegal benefits
[ ] Sexual Assault
[ ] Academic fraud
[ ] Domestic violence
(Select all that apply)
Those would all be rumors or hearsay, but it's those kinds of rumors and hearsay that we come here to see, even though we know that 9 times out of 10 nothing will be done about them.
Then there's this
WSU Athlete being investigated for
[ ] Anything
That's rumor, gossip, or hearsay that is evil and cannot be allowed
Context matters
