I heard AC Donnie Jones gave an inspirational speech, and then handed out personal messages to each player from a post-it note pad with a gaggle of puppies pictured in the corner.

Marshall threw some things, shook his watch a couple of times, and punched a wall.

The balance of the staff were looking up recruiting info on their phones, and were otherwise unaware of their situation or surroundings.

Shamet, Frankamp, and McDuffie: 7-27 FG, 3/12 inside, 4/15 from 3, 4 assist, 6 TOs.

Also, on a day with 20 fouls (44 both teams) Shamet has 0. Not sure what that says when we lose by 14.

Shocks rebounded better 2nd half but were beat in most every other facet of the game. Houston hustled hard and slowed our guards down on a very frigid scoring day for the Shocks. We were 4-20 on 3-pointers. Nuff said.
