    Kent State University is seeking $1.2 million in damages from its former men’s basketball coach Geno Ford, now Bradley’s head coach, for breach of contract.
    Kansas is Flat. The Earth is Not!!

      I've always thought it was strange that a coach could walk on a contract, but the school always has to pay if they fire a coach before his contract is up.
      The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
      We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

          As much as we hate to see it, this happens every year in college coaching. The most I could see them getting is whatever was in the buyout clause. Not one? I could be wrong but I think most contracts of this sort are illegal?

          Maybe something to go on in the two 25K cases. But if BU followed NCAA guidelines and I'm sure they follow all guidelines as advised by consul. Nothing here all for show, no go.

            Ford agreed in his contract that if he left before it expired he would pay Kent State a sum equal to his base and supplemental salary, multiplied by the number of years or any portions of those years remaining in the agreement, the lawsuit states.
