The game is so much easier if you always can count on a bailout foul, offense and defense. Every small opportunity looks huge, every big opportunity looks unmissable, the basket gets bigger. And the opposite is true on the other end. Gotta take that floater at 15 feet because Higgins will call a foul on a postup. Gotta gamble on defense, he's gonna bail them out at 3s. GAH. Reffing can have so much impact on the game.
