I have a jayhawk friend going to Maui this fall for the tourney and he asked me to find out from Shocker fans about the ticket situation.

Is it best to buy them in advance, or are they easy to get at the door or from scalpers? How much shoudl he expect to spend on tickets? Thanks for any insight.

It's a tiny gym and very few seats available. Better have seats very early.

I didn't notice as many tickets for sale as people from previous years made it sound there would be...but then again, I wasn't exactly looking for tickets either. Kentucky was a ticket hog, who probably bought up any and all available tickets. Probably no school like that going next year...

Your friend probably just needs to call the KU ticket office and get on the list. If they don't get tickets guess they'll be buying from scalpers.

I thought the scalpers were the KU ticket office... or has that stopped now?

I hear that if you happen to install home fitness equipment you may be able to get a few tickets to Maui tourney.

Dan, tell him to find a new team to cheer for. A KU fan will never be a friend of mine.
