“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”

Nope
Only if you choose to do so, Wuzee -- some people feel compelled to jump into the wringer at every opportunity. I'm not one of them; whether you are is up to you.
Interesting that the ESPN writer included Mark Turgeon in his speculation. You could knock me over with a feather if Brad Stevens even gave Maryland a glance, but MT would not surprise me at all. If I were Maryland's AD, I'd certainly try to pursue him -- probably after a call to Larry Brown first to see if the World's Most Discontented Coach could prime the pump for me.

If WSU gets Keith DeWitt, keeps Carl Hall and the other recruits and IF the team chemistry is right, this team could go deep in March. Marshall has to look at 2011-12 as the season to make his mark. Losing our senior point guard Ragland at the end of next season might make it easier to leave WSU but if Williams, Cotton, etc. steps up, then the 2012-13 season also has to look really good.
I'm not going to worry about losing Gregg until March of 2012 and, if the team does well and the returning team looks excellent, not until March of 2013.Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

Maryland fans are about as if not more delusional than other fans we have seen out there including NCSU. Unless they cough up hugh amounts I don't see them getting anybody on their list. As of yet Marshall is far off their list. Williams should have been fired rather than retiring. Said he would kick all those MVC schools asses and then no open dates?

As an Arizona fan this has me very worried. NCST didn't worry me at all, but Maryland has me very worried. They are located in the center of the hottest recruiting bed in the country- DC/Maryland. They have the potential to challenge Duke and N. Carolina in the ACC. NCST doesn't. A lot of the top HCs in the country would love to have that job. My hope is, now that Miller is bringing in top 5 recruiting classes to UA, he won't feel the need to go to Maryland for recruiting. Also Dixon is being interviewed first. Our AD has been a football first AD and has been bungling contract talks and hasn't delivered all that has been promised to Miller, but is now starting to get how important basketball is to Tucson. Hopefully he realizes that if he bungles this and Miller leaves, he'll be looking for another job.
