I don't think that Les was fired for last year's record. There had been a lot of pressure building for a number of years about them under performing compared to their talent level. If anything, I know a lot of people that wanted him gone were worried that the injuries last year would keep him from being fired because the year's woes would be excusable.Originally posted by shox1989
I'm not convinced one way or another whether he should have been fired. He seems like a good guy and was a good representative for the school, but other than getting hot at the end of the season and making a Sweet 16, his teams did under perform and he was out-coached in a lot of games.
