Here are some interesting stats on Mr. Kelly I just compiled off goshockers.

Assists---LS leads the team this Season with 55 assists. Kelly from the 3 and 4 slot is tied for 2nd with CF with 31. Most assists in a game is a tie for 1st with 8 both by LS and Kelly.

Steals---LS leads the team with 10 followed by 8 by both Kelly and Z. Brown

Blocks--Shaq leads the Shocks with 23 blocks, Willis is next with 9, and Kelly is 3rd with 7.

One of the most impressive things about the caliber of the young men GM's recruits is that they all through the years, virtually give their all.in (almost) every game. Kelly does stand out, but others like Conner, Reeves, and the other team members likewise make spectacular offensive and defensive plays as well. They take, the hits, the elbows, the knocks to the floor. Sure, that's basketball. Just saying, I admire and appreciate everything they do and the spirit they do it in.

I thought Kelly was going to be the 2nd coming of X when he flashed some rebounding skills against inferior comp as a Freshman. That, he is not. However, this version of Kelly is terrific, taking just what offense the D gives him and creating some chances for himself and teammates on the boards. There was a point his Sophomore season where I think he thought of himself as a shooter.

Rashard never lacks for effort and heart. He plays fearless and hardly ever lets a bad play effect his effort. He plays to his strengths, rebounding and defense, plus scoring around the basket. He’s improved his finishing at the basket and he’s shooting his free throws pretty decent to boot.

Rashard may have learned something from Wessel. I used to say how I missed Wessel, but not so much anymore. Rashard is a junk yard dog.

Yep. 1 and 1A. Len Elmore didn't need any convincing. That's good enough for me, because one thing L. Elmore is not is a Mark Adams clone (Valley this, and Valley that...). He just appreciates winning basketball when he sees it.

RK had at least two offensive rebounds that he was fouled on, so they were not recorded as rebounds
