Welcome to the 1st annual AAC pick em challenge.
Unfortunately the AAC schedule is not laid out as neatly as the MVC's was so doing a round by round contest in which all teams have 1 game per round will no longer be possible. So this year there will be 20 rounds with each consisting of 4-6 games usually played over a 2 day span. Not all teams will have a game in each round but no team will have 2 games in a single round.
For each round, a participant predicts the winning team of each game and has a total of 2 points per game to allocate and assign among the predicted winning teams for the round. At least 1 point must be assigned to each game in the round. No more than 4 points may be assigned to an individual game in the round. 4 game rounds will have 8 total points, 5 gamers will have 10 and so on.
Picks are due by the tipoff time of the first game of each round. If you are late getting your picks in, you lose 2 points per game for the games that have already started.
Changes in picks and point allocations are allowed as long as they are made before tipoff of the first game of each round. Standings of the participants scores will be updated and posted after the completion of each of the 20 rounds.
Make your selections now for the Round 1 games which start on December 27th. Latecomers to the contest season are allowable, but of course they will be behind on possible points for the season.
There will be a post-season conference tournament contest. To participate in the post-season contest your final score must be one of the 12 best point totals accumulated, including ties, during the regular conference season.
Round 1 (8 points available)
UCF @ SMU 12/27 8pm
ECU @ Tulsa 12/28 4pm
Houston @ USF 12/28 6pm
Tulane @ Temple 12/28 6pm
Add your picks to this thread.
Remember to have all your picks in before the tipoff of the first game, or points will be deducted. Good luck!
