I like Donnie, but I dont feel as if he has the ability to draw up plays like jans did, I understand we brought him in because of his recruiting capabilities but i wouldve liked to have seen Marshall go after more of a younger x’s and o’s type guy, an up and comer with great in game planning skills but i still feel like its too early to really see the type of impact Donnie will have on the program.
I don't agree. OU may be a Top 10 team. The other team tries to win too. Your thoughts show a simpleton point of view. We have won big games and lost a couple. We should have beaten Norte Dame but OU was better. We didn't have a first half deficit with ND. Unless you think we will win EVERY game ( and from what you said you just might think that), it's much more than that. Why did Landry have his worst game? Why did Shaq not convert more on the inside (he was 4-12, mostly from the inside)?

The biggest impact is probably the loss in trust. HCGM trusted CJ's input and CJ wasn't afraid to provide it.

HCGM may already trust the new team of assistants, but it usually takes a lot of time in trenches to build that CJ-level of trust.

I totally agree, although have we missed Stallworth more than X?
