Here's the deal. The OU home loss was a tough pill to swallow. Here on SN, we hate losses and they are a slow burn. Even so, we will probably lose around 5-7 games before it is all said and done so I try not to take it personal. Why? I was never on a team ranked 3rd in the Country at anything. Thus, just as we get back in the ring in life after setbacks, our beloved Shocks will regroup, correct issues, and get back to our winning ways. We have 2 more home games to play before facing UConn in a tough road conference game.
It has been said that the red wolves are becoming extinct. GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! The last I checked the Canis Rufus were 3-6 this Season and our hyena Shocks don't take losing as a laughing matter. The wolves play in the Sun Belt Conference and picked 8th by Street and Smith and Lindy's but did have a record of 20-12 overall last Season. They are led by D. Stevens, T. Cockfield, Rashad Lindsey, and T. Bruce and coached by Mike Balado. Who wins in a hardwood cage match with red wolves versus angry hyenas? The Shocks will win by 25.
Games like this need to show signs of improvement as the Shocks regroup on both sides of the hardwood. Look for our DeFense to discombobulate the red foxes gameplans that would resemble a covey of banty roosters in a windy hailstorm. Never get caught in the hen house when hyenas are showing their teeth because not even the dentists will have anything to do with them or even offer to clean their sharp teen that can take a chunk of flesh out of their foes.. In hopes the Shocks get the ball more inside to our bigs and our good shooters hit shots at the rate expected from this moment springing forward. Look for Austin Reaves to score 14, LS-22, and Shaq gets a double double.
