WSU at OSU Game Thread

OSU's strategy is to deny every pass, and make our players beat their players one on one. The guys have to go and do that.

They feel they have the athletic advantage on the perimeter (which they do) and are exploiting that advantage.

We just look sort of frantic on offense. Gotta give the OSU defense some props.

Their defense looks good. Lots of quickness. We aren't moving it much on offense though

This feels uncomfortably like last year. We just don’t match up well against this team. Turning it off and going to the gym. Hopefully we can get this figured out.

Tough defensive game. Freedom of movement, especially with PG pressure, seems to be out the window today. NOT the way we'd like a game called. Must adjust.


The Pokes aggressive defense has us completely discombobulated on offense, which is discouraging.


So far, it seems both teams are remembering last year's game.


That's a hell of an effort by Austin right there. The real deficiency of this team is NOT struggling against the zone, it's the lack of options to beat a good man to man off the dribble.


If OSU gets hot for 3-4 minutes, we'll face a deficit that a recovery from is terribly unlikely.


Is it just me, or have we had a lot of guys knocked to the floor so far, even excluding the scrums for the loose balls?
