I actually thought he played more than just six minutes so I was surprised to see that this morning. But I agree, he looked much better on the court last night than in previous games. I'm happy to see that.

3G teams have traditionally not guarded the three point line well.

The shockers have to guard the 3 point line better or they are going to lose some games they should not.

Didn't even watch the game, the box score shows all I need to know. The team is allowing well over 40% of their opponents shots to be taken from three. That's not great, especially in a one loss tournament where teams can get hot. (yes I know about the SSU game).

Ranked #55 in total 3pt defense but have to imagine that is going to skyrocket after tonight.

Trae Young could drop 50 in the first half on WSU.

We're gonna see a lot more close games this year even though we're a better team. The defense wasn't great the first half but a red hot hand, or in this case hands, will make you it look worse than you really are. Ran their legs off though. Much harder to shoot with tired legs.

This team is showing some backbone. It will be needed and could take them far.

First of all, most teams who shoot 50% and dropping 13 of 27 of 3 will win. I don't care who TF they are.

Secondly, this team was good. Anybody with half a brain should've known this coming in.

Finally, most teams lose that game with all of that going against them. Notre Dame couldn't do it tonight. But we did. And I'm happy that we got a W when 90% thought this was gonna be an L with about 15 minutes left in the game.

Can somebody explain to me why ZB thinks he's an offensive juggernaut? He's in there for DEFENSE. Period. He simply is not a skilled enough player to be lobbing up 3's down double-digits in the second half. And the free throw thing at the end. Why was he holding the ball wanting to get fouled? Did he not realize there were 90% free-throw shooters out there? Did he just decide he wanted to man up and deliver? Not a good strategy going forward. Let's try to get it to the actual free throw shooters next time. If they threw in a few more 3's after that, that could've been the difference in the game.

Game was extremely frustrating, entertaining, and satisfying all wrapped into one. As Marshall said, I'm glad we got the one out of the way.

SDSU at +19 was Vegas handing out free cash tonight. Couldn't believe it was that high.
