Hard to prep for a team shooting 65% from the field and 75% from 3. They only had 3 assists and 1 offensive rebound, so it's not like our defense was just not showing up.

They can't miss cause we are leaving them wide open more times than not. Like we forgot how to defend.

I saw it and have never seen him do that. He is pissed.

Worse half we've played this year. Worst half Marshall has coached. Love him, but each of these tight ones makes me wonder if he's a little overconfident. There's a fine line between a teaching moment and letting a bad team hang 50 on you without calling a TO. And we simply can't afford to drop buy games, no matter how many of those teaching moments you get. Gotta come out under control.
That half was awful, but a team shooting out of their minds will make it look like that. I'm expecting our hard nosed defense to show up next half and shut this crap down.

Fact is tho, Jackrabbits are making some really tough shots.

It's half open shots, half ridiculously low percentage shots going in.

From what I saw that's exactly what happened. Very poor defense. Gave them a ton of confidence.

I wouldn’t even want to be a fly on the wall inside WSU’s locker room.

I’d wager the paint in there is peeling now.

One thing that caught my eye on Kenpom, WSU turnover and steal pct. is A weakness (almost one of the worst). WSU was in top 3rd last year.

SDSU is shooting lights-out, but the typical in-your-face WSU defense seems to be lacking. Doesn't look like the same defense I saw in Waco. Seems like it will be an unpleasant halftime locker room with 3G.

We've done nothing to take them out of their comfort zone. Disruption and trapping better be in the second half gameplan

Some here have said that it's an effort thing. I am going to disagree. The last few minutes, we were doing way better on defense. They are shooting hot, and we are struggling to defend the pick and pop. That being said, Daum popped from 5ft beyond the arc. On the offense, we have just made many mistakes with the ball. Turnovers, poor shots.

For the second half, we have to continue to feed the bigs, and find personnel that are going to make the difference defensively.

Sometimes the other guys make shots and no matter what you do they still make shots. It happens.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

Whoever is guarding Daum needs to stop falling for the pick. Stay on Daum!!!!

Face it, we were simply outplayed on both ends of the court. They have been wide open on most of their 3's.

Better get our butts in gear or we will lose this game -
