Did anybody see Durley and Blair play with the KU players (I think it was Morningstar, Reed, and Little) at the East High Baseball Charity event? I didn't even know they were going to be there. I think Paul Miller played against them as well? I was hoping to get some details.

Miller had about 25pts and 20 rebs, but Gabe Blair stole the show with about 35 points. The beakers oohed and aahed at his dunks. Gabe had a sweet Dominique Wilkins windmill. Mario Little put up a shot and Blair rejected it, nearly pinning it against the backboard. Beaker nation filled the gym with a groaning 'mmmm'.Egotism is the anesthetic of stupidity.

Miller had just finished his season in Europe, so it appeared he only played half the minutes. When he was in, he was a man amongst boys. It is amazing to see how far he's progressed since his freshman year and the level of confidence he plays at now.
Gabe Blair did steal the show for the KU/WSU seniors team. He had some monster dunks and also displayed why he wasn't given the green light from 3 during the year :)
JT was JT, hit his spot up threes and had some good moves on Paul and Darrin Williams down low. JT seemed to want to show off his PG skills more than bang down low.
A Gabe being Gabe moment came at halftime when the players were allowed to auction off a personal item. After the KU players sold their autographed jerseys, Gabe was asked to let the crowd know what he would be selling. He informed the majority of KU fans in attendance that this was his jersey that he wore last year.... The jersey he wore "when we
beat Northern Iowa" After some laughs from WSU fans and some moans from KU fans, the jersey went for around $450
JT auctioned off the "game ball" from the NIT championship game signed by the entire team. I think it went for $460.
A handful of WSU players came out to support Gabe and JT. I think I saw Demetric, Joe, Toure, Derek and Jerome H.
A great event, and kudos to Wichita East baseball for inviting WSU players to the event as well.

Does anybody remember Frank Moore? He was outstanding. Jeremy (?) Butler also was there and he played for Gene Smithson. I don't remember him but he was impressive. He had a sweet one handed Jordan-esque leaner.
Darrin Williams didn't do anything. I think he left at halftime and went to Braum's. :shock:Egotism is the anesthetic of stupidity.
