Homer: WOOHOO! Four day weekend.

We'd probably be stuck with MSU, ORU, Creighton, STL and probably UNI.
Whoopie.

F the Valley.
If the Valley says screw you, then I dance in the streets. We'll find another conference.
Yep I don't see that happening.

We already recruit against them, and who we go after isn't going to change much.
The numbers make sense.
Agree or not, but NOBODY is looking to spend more money on baseball, and FINALLY our location works in our favor.
Again, like it or not, it is good competition for everyone. If we end up being the worst team, so be it. At least we go down fighting.

My point being is the Big 12 would not.
It would give a boost to WSU baseball, which happens to sit smack dab in the middle of 4 of the programs. In return I don't see what the big 12 would get.

WSU's "crappy baseball team" playing in the Biug 12 would be more competitive in that league in that sport than KU or KSU are in football in that league. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

KU and KSU would never, ever let that happen. OU hates our baseball program and won't even deign to schedule us anymore. Nobody else in that leage gives a rat's ass about WSU to the degree that they would stick their neck out and shout over the shrieking Jayhawks and Wildcats.
The only school with that kind of singular influence is Texas, and we are dreaming if we think that Augie and co. would do us that kind of epic favor.
