  • LED Lighting Glare

Experienced the LED lighting now in two different places. Up high (in my normal seats) and down low (Newman game). Each presents different issues.

If you are down low, you need a hat to block out the lights from the far side. If look like they tried to save money by not distributing the lights, but by just putting them in banks on each side of the court, which means the lights are shining across at an angle and not down. Once you put a hat on the experience gets much better.

Up high there is extreme amount of glare coming off the floor near the seats. Hats won't fix that, but they could easily put down some type of non-reflective mat.

Yeah, pretty serious floor glare up high. It's dark enough in row 31, that we cannot read the program, but that's not a biggie for me

I've sat as low as row 2 for volleyball, and up to row 18 for the first men's exhibition game. Maybe it depends on your angle, but I've had no issues from any of those rows.

The worst I’ve noticed is a slight glare/reflection in the corner of the floor.

The new lighting is superior in my opinion.

I'm sure they are positioned so they aren't in they eyes or glare for the players .. I'm not sure they can do lights that bright without some form of glare for someone somewhere in the stands.
