    I don't know what the current softball roster has to do with Eric Sexton, but I'll claim the first base side! (My wife would kill me if I didn't for the brunette.)

    (Sorry, honey. Just kidding. You know I love you!)

      And I was not very impressed with the welcome home get together he was patting himself on the back for.

      But I will give him his props for the HCGM contract extension.

      :good:
      I know Eric pretty well and, after reading this board for the past few years often wondered why some fans were so hard on him. Since he has been the AD, he has:
      1. kept the major revenue producing coaches in tact;
      2. kept the Athletic Dept. out of scandal like has happened at KSU and KU over recent years;
      3. Kept the money flowing. I have heard the basketball program doesn't spend their budget every year;
      4. Hired an great new Assistant, the guy that was an assistant to Mark Gottried, that guy is a major upgrade from Pracht.

      The issue with Clevin Hannah was a typo, and yes, technically it goes back on the AD, but didn't the error actually occur when Schaus was still in charge? If not, it was right at the beginning of Eric's tenure, he was probably still trying to find his way around the place whent that happened.

      I think the guy has done pretty well to this point. If at some point he has to hire a new basketball coach, believe me, that won't be done without plenty of prior research and effort.

      I will add increased WSU Basketball's national TV exposure to your list. WSU has had more games on national TV the last 2 years than ever in the history of the program.

        I suggest slow down.

          Somehow I think your avatar of Krust is looking two posts above yours.
