Well, Coach K(resse) came along from Joe Lapchick, Frank McGuirre, Lou Carnesecca etc.. those guys, 1972Shocker. Like I said before, who absolutely needs Coach K(ryczewski) as a mentor when you have that?

Quick caveat: Frank McGuire coached St Johns to the NCAA finals in '52.. North Carolina to a perfect 32-0 record in '57 (he started it ALL there, including bringing in Dean Smith behind him).. and South Carolina to an ACC POWERHOUSE in the late '60's.
