I cant see Marshall at NC State, mostly because of Yow. What i have heard is she is a strict and tough AD to work for. I think her and Marshall would not get along at all.

No question OU is a better job. At OU, it is football first and you have to be better than Texas at basketball. At NCSU, it is football first and you have to be better than North Carolina and Duke in basketball.

Up until the NIT run I was sure Marshall would take the NC State job. It is one that has worried me a lot. He would love to be that close to home and to coach in the ACC.

Hopefully the NIT run has helped cement his heart in Wichita a little longer and the problems with the NCST AD and just that job in general will keep him in Wichita.

But this job (NCST) worries me a lot. I was hoping they wouldn't fire their coach. Because I think it is going to be very hard for Marshall to turn this job done. In fact, I still think it's just not in him to turn it down if it is offered.

Let's hope they offer it to someone else who says yes.
