  • Something big up - Danny Ainge in town

Friend of mine who works for TSA swears he saw Danny Ainge fly into Wichita yesterday. I think we can only assume that sexton has called him in for consultations.

I'm missing something in these references to Ainge. What is his connection to WSU? A brief check reveals he was raised in Eugene, OR & went to BYU. He certainly didn't play for Wichita's NBA franchise.
    Is this just a joke?

Not many know it, but Danny Ainge, while in the background, has had a significant influence on the shaping of Wichita State basketball.

Danny Ainge has a long proud history of supporting and rooting for the Shockers.
Let's hope he can hit a D-1 Curve ball!

            Yes.

RDR, SB, and Shirley Schmidt - or whatever handle he is going by for the year - are all personal buddies, and consider fleecing the gullible on SN as good entertainment.

Did you're friend recognize his colon in the full body scanner image thingy, or something?

No. It was a 2006 sweet 16 t-shirt. They Have kevlar threading in them and have life of 100 years.

If he was, that is who I saw at the Hutchinson Pizza Hut last night.

Not true! I witnessed Mr. Ainge on campus after Eddie Fogler departed for greener pastures. If he's in town something is up!

I heard that Gene Stephenson had volunteered to provide reference for Marshall as he is afraid Marshall is setting the bar to high - actualy winning.
