Jake White was named fourth team high school all-american by Parade magazine. While I don't look forward to Suellentrops writeup on THAT, for example, I'll still read it because I'm always looking for Shocker print news.

Paul does an excellent job. He is also a WSU alum. He is a champion of WSU, and he is realistic and objective about the program. That is what I like to see in a reporter. I thank him for his work! :clap:

Yep, patently untrue. Kirk enjoyed writing a book on WSU during his time as the beat writer (good luck finding a copy, it's been out of print for ages) and is definitely a big Shocker fan. Fwiw, I used to work with him many, many moons ago.

It's called the SHOCKER HANDBOOK and it is great. I wish they would update it and reprint it.

Anybody who has read that book would not say that Seminoff hates WSU. It seems quite the opposite to me.

What ia Suellentrop doing now? If I'm him I'm compiling a list of likely replacements for 3G and putting together bios while writing a Marshall stays article all the while reaching out to sources to get any scuttlebut. First person out with a process article on the hiring of Marshall-if it happens-wins.

He went to WSU. He worked at the WSU student paper, The Sunflower, during the '89-'90 school year. I guess the proper term is alumnus (which can be shortened to "alum"). I graduated then, didn't know he moved on to another school. Thanks!
