As I posted several weeks ago, we could have all us SNers coach by committee. By some random method, one gets to don a suit and walk the sideline, and the rest get to sit behind the bench and tell the suit what an idiot he is.

I like this other than having to wear a suit if I get the gig (unless a sweatsuit qualifies). Plus my terms would include being able to take a power nap at halftime. Otherwise, I am more than qualifed serve in the "sit behind the bench" role.

This is a problem for me as my heckling skill is positively correlated to my drunkeness, but my coaching skill shows zero correlation. I would need three days notice before any bench work to sober up.

Truth & Rumors on www.cnnsi.com has two pieces this morning: Tubby Smith to MO & Calipari wants to go to the NBA. The second rumor is would be great for college basketball. Marshall could then go to KY to renew his rivalry with Cuonzo Martin. Or stay at WSU.
Ben Jacobson has recruited Minnesota. He can go there. Or perhaps Marshall sees a gold mine up north after landing a Minnesota player of the year. But if you look at 3 bad home losses this year there is something in common:
Misery St a snowy Sunday night.
Northern Iowa cold & icy.
SIU record cold snowy, nasty & miserable.
After summarizing those 3 games, I think I'm dumb to stay in ICT.
