The Shocker Season in retrospect and looking forward

Hall should come in and bang with the best of them. He seems to shoot a solid percentage from the field. About the time our foes experience that, enter in Jake White who will drain some 3's and knows how to score. Jake will not have to carry us, but rather enter our committee of 10 and learn our System.

Now, what if, what if, what if, each of our returning Seniors improve next Season? Ben Smith could be the best 6th man in the Valley but it will be hard to keep him from starting. If Stutz stays out of foul trouble and works hard to improve, then YIKES. Toure' was a second team All Valley player and I would like to see Kyles play each game similar to his performance versus Tulsa. Rags really came on strong at the end and found his nitch in our System as our quarterback.

The way Coach Marshall recruits, who knows what other player, (players) will sign the dotted line. This is exciting and the Overseas trip could be a huge asset, I hope. Stay tuned!!!!!!!

Here's the deal. The retrospecting is easier now because we have our Coach still with us after all the speculations. 29 wins was a record and this team was quite the road team. We lose 5 Seniors, and the 3 bigs graduating will be quite a hit.

Looking forward, here are some unknowns. Will we improve still again under HCGM as we have each Season during his tenure? We have 5 solid Seniors but will our overall depth be as good or better? Soon will will know who will be added to our roster which will assist us in that area. Will our team D. be as good or better than last Season? Defense wins championships. Our guards will play the D. quite well, but what about the inside game?

Look for Stutz to have his best Season as a Shocker. Carl Hall will need to provide immediate help. Jake White will be better than advertised. Is EO going to be ready? Of all Seasons to take a summer basketball playing tour, this will be just the one that should help us improve and provide us a jump start into next Season. Can this team challenge for the Valley title?

One thing about it that is we really have little margain for error to Dance. Winning the Valley is not enough. We need to also win most of our big games next Season. Otherwise, it come down to winning The Lou again. Yikes!!!
