KU gets tp looking at the finish line before they are there, assuming that some games are going to be automatic wins. When UNI played them, UNI played their game the whole game.

This is kind of what I mean. It's my belief it's their own arrogance that causes it.

KU also has a history of forcing teams to play their game. UNI does a very good job at sticking to their style. I told everyone that would listen that that is what it would come down to and I thought UNI would make it a game as they'd refuse to try and run with KU.

I remember listening to the end of that game while sitting in the car in the Hutch Sports Arena parking lot. We then went inside to watch EO play in the juco championship . . . . good times!

I just think that the way UNI dismantled a very good WSU team in the second half of that MVC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME (first time in that game for WSU since 85, Marshall doubters.. unbelievable) was so impressive. That team was every bit as good as KU all year long. It was great when WSU beat UNI here that year. :posterwsu:

And it was great when WSU beat UNI here that year. Of course we should have beat them at their place to for the regular season sweep. But, oh well, you cant have it all. :posterwsu:
