I for one would love to see a VCU Nat. Champ, just so all them Jackwagon "experts" could continue to blather about how just because they are winning doesn't justify there being in the Dance.
From the road I listen (Tune In radio) at home I watch ( season Ticks )

If anyone is interested, they're showing the replay of the VCU/Kansas game on CBS College Sports 260/2260 on Cox. About 6 minutes left in the first half.

You can say that again. I haven't forgotten your absurd and snotty posts in the past on the baseball board.

There are about 100 non-Shocker fans that post on this site that are better than you. Don't think so highly of yourself.
Oh Gawd..."Don't think so highly of yourself"?

A guy who thinks people have glass heads....I don't claim to be "better"...I am just a guy on a message board...and you...

Well, here in the south there is an old saying..."You can't blame a weasel for having sharp teeth." So, I just nod my head...

You can't blame a certain type of guy for being prickly.
Takes one, to know one, needle-rear.

I'm not the one shoving my sense of self-worth down a Florida State message board.

I truly believe you wish you were a Shocker.
        Deuces Valley.
        ... No really, deuces.

Anyone notice the headlines on the college hoops pages of ESPN, FoxSports, CBS all have two stories about recruiting violations that occurred at UCONN and Kentucky?

I like that you don't see any of these stories written about the other half of the bracket.

Oh, and I also read today that Johan Calipari is the only coach ever to take 3 schools to a final four...except none of them actually counted. That is sad. I wonder how long this final four banner will be allowed to hang in Rupp?

Calipari should be congratulated for finally reaching the final 4. At least until it's taken away again.

Last night at the ESPY awards, VCU won the best upset ESPY for their win against KU.

2 years in a row for KU (UNI got it last year, didn't they)

I think Bucknell also won a few years back.

I believe the full-length modern day Line of Shame for KU reads: Bucknell, Bradley, UNI, VCU.

It will most certainly get longer, at least as long as nice-guy-but-crappy-tourney-coach Self is there.

I think it's less about Self, and more about the whole KU mentality. Time after time in the tourney, their fans and the team look past the so-called mid-major teams. With Self a former 'mid-major' coach, I don't think he overlooks them, but rather the whole atmosphere and mindset of the KU nation does. Just that silver spoon attitude I guess.

                          • I don't think it's as much about overlooking opponents as it is the parity in college basketball that the BCS conferences refuse to believe exists. The gap is not really that large.

                            • The gap isn't that large. I saw myself UNI (two years ago) and VCU (last year) beat some damn good WSU teams. UNI played hella team ball, second to no one in that respect that year, and VCU had an intimidating, athletic frontline, like final 4 good frontline.

                              • KU gets tp looking at the finish line before they are there, assuming that some games are going to be automatic wins. When UNI played them, UNI played their game the whole game.
