  • NIT SHirts

Talked to the guys at sports time today and they are trying to get the NIT final four shirts approved. If they are approved in time they will be available on saturday. For those going to NYC represent and help the team bring it home!!! If you have any questions about the shirts feel free to give sports time a call east or west

Great. I hope they can get them in. If they can't they should do something playing on WSU and New York like WU York or Spreading the WU. Stuff like that.

I like the Wu York idea.

I've found SportsTimes designs to be a little too busy. I like something simple and understated.

Wu York is good. Maybe a Yankees style "W" and "Y"?

All Sports West told me they would try to have the Final 4 shirts in on Saturday if not they will be there on Monday.

I'm glad the shox made the final four and if I could go cheer them on in person, I would.

But no way in hell would I ever wear an NIT shirt. I don't need that kind of grief.

E: A Wu York or Wu as Liberty would be fine. But if it says NIT anywhere on it then all the KU fans will give me wedgies on the school yard.

              .
I agree, except I just don't think it's something to be proud of. Just a couple of years ago WSU and Creighton fans were making fun of each other for being in the NIT...now it's a accomplishment...for both schools.

You're right.... I would much rather have an NCAA one and done T-shirt.... 8)

I think it is an accomplishment. It isn't the one I was hoping for in November and it is not as good as going to the dance, but it is a good accomplishment.

Only 8 Shocker teams in the whole history of WSU basketball have ever gone to the dance.

And NO Shocker basketball team has ever gone to the final 4 of the NIT.

So I would place this year's team as the 9th best Shocker team ever.

That is something to be proud of in my book. :wsu_posters:

I dunno about the marketing department over there. I will give the person sporting an NIT FINAL FOUR shirt some marbles while at the same time will be embarrassed for him too. But you know what they say, there's a sucker born every minute.

Me too... heck, I wouldn't even wipe my arse with one of them. :banghead:

P.S. Sorry, I'll spare you the photo.

A WU Statue of Liberty could possibly be the best idea since electricity.

I'm proud of the team making this run, and would gladly sport a NIT final four shirt. Maybe I am a sucker for Shocker gear. It's much less embarrassing than those "Oh look we're ranked 8th" t-shirts we made in 07. It's also less embarrassing than the regular old NIT shirts that were made before the Nebraska game that I saw several people sporting.

I still have a regular old NIT shirt that I got in 2005. Turgeon tried to make a really big deal out of going to the NIT and I fell for it.

At least now I have a reason to wear that old shirt.
