Great win Shox!
Now it's time to head east! I might remind everyone that our Shox have kicked butt on the east coast in recent years. Wins against Manhattan College, Providence, Syracuse, and George Mason, just off the top of my head. Oh and btw I was at all those games, as I will be at BOTH games at MSG!

What a great game to attend!! #3 was amazing; can he transfer? :D
Talk about long lines at the concession stands. And forget the restrooms!! And it doesn't matter.
How many frequent flyer miles do I have? Can I get off work? :(Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

I did NOT see the game when Larry Bird played at 21st and Hillside. Even so, I heard he, like Andrew Goudelock, was making them from 21st and Hillside!!!! WOW!!! The Shockers DID IT!!! What? Only 27-8? What? We are NOT done yet and this win was fun personified, and special for our great CITY!!!!!!!
I can see it now at the Garden when our beloved Shocks first walk in.
Coach Marshall---"Gabe bring that ladder over here and stand it under the hoop." "JT, take this tape measure with you up the ladder and put it on the rim." Hatch, How tall is that rim?" Graham says--"10' right down the Hatch triple G Coach"
Coach Marshall:" Ellis, how tall is it at 21st and Hillside? Ellis-"10' Coach"
Coach Marshall---"When we play Shocker basketball, we can beat any team here, just like the Hooisers did many moons ago. You Seniors will lead us and show us the way, New York, New York!!!!!!!"Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

It makes my stomach churn when I feel like we guard pretty darn good and everything drops. Those guys were unconscious! But on the flip side, it took, what 3 or 10 forty footers to get them back, and they did!! Wow!! Great game Shox, great game Cougars!

Ok - I had to watch this one on TV. What a great game and outcome! Way to go Shox!
One comment about the TV crew....did it seem like Fran Fraschilla mailed it in? Did he really do any research or just show up and talk about the fluff that we all know about? Seemed like he was kind of surprised by everything and kinda condescending about a couple of comments about how our players wouldn't "embarrasss themselves in the ACC, etc."

What an awesome feeling it must be for the players to be in MSG.
For what its worth I am in Sun Valley, Idaho and made them switch to the game at the restaurant we were eating at. There was a person from Wichita as well that I met on the slopes, but he was a KU fan.
Shocker Nation is World Wide. The mountains are calling, and I must go.

When the Shocks play our game, we are resilient enough to take the others team's best shot, and just keep on keeping on. These teams that make it this far are here for a reason. They are not just good teams, but playing quite well right now and even peaking. The Shocks are on such a roll and I hope we keep it up and finish the Season with ALL WINS!!!!!!! YIKES!!! Very few teams will do that!!!!!!!Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

You must have not watched many games Fran does. He's terrible and always sounds like he showed up to the game 30 minutes prior, read the game notes and then makes stuff up. He was a horrible coach and he's an even more horrible color analyst.

Wow, another absolutely great NIT experience in Koch Arena.
Started out pretty slow. Neither team shooting well and the officials keeping things kind of disjointed, but once the Shocks got things in gear and kick started the fans it was just great.
Goudelock was simply tremendous. The best offensive player we faced this year and that includes some very good guards. Monroe was exactly chopped liver either (the long banked-in three notwithstanding). I think it is safe to say this is the best guard duo we have faced in a long-time. After facing these guys Joe, Toure, D-Will and DK may think New York really is a vacation.
Hopefully, the game played well on the tube. I've got it recorded and will watch it a little later.
Very happy for our guys and for 3G and staff.
 :goshocks:
