When I looked this morning (I was still half asleep so I could be wrong) but I think my cox guide said it was the 8:00 p.m. game.

I just looked and that's correct. It's 8PM Wednesday.

I left the ticket office at 3pm and they did not know the time of the game.

I can't get a hold of the ticket office. Essentially been working alone all day with no chance to call, and now that I have a few minutes I can't get thru. I better be able to get a hold of someone before 5 or I'm gonna be pissed.

That is correct. It depends on the outcome of tonight's NIT games. If a host team that is west of us wins and gets assigned the other Wednesday night game, they will play the late game (8 pm CST). On the other hand, if the other Wednesday game involves a host team that is east of us they will get the early game (6pm CST) and we will get the late (8 pm CST) game. At least that is how the people in the ticket office explained it.

I am listening to the radio archive of the game this morning, and there is a classic Dave Dahl line near the end of the game.


After the game tying basket, Mike said there were 9 seconds to go and Dave chimes in "It, it hit the official's toe". No further details were offered as to why that tidbit was imperative at that point of the game.

I don't know why, but I can't stop laughing.
