Could be wrong, but I believe the Big East got three in UConn, Marquette, and Notre Dame. To be fair, they could only get 9 in as there were so freaking many Big Least teams in the dance that UConn and Marquette got their births by beating their conference bretheren in the second round.Livin the dream

I feel very confident about Ragland (despite a few bone headed plays) as our PG and floor leader next year. Rags REALLY gives effort and knows when he screws up. You can tell how hard he is trying, and I actually liked the way he took the ball at the end of reg and OT and said F this, I'm going to win this game!!! Not the greatest shots, but at least he had a purpose instead of what we saw in our losses early in the year.
Today I remembered why I loved Toure. Despite the box score I felt like TM played great defense and was effective on offense (obvious by the box). Kinda like when you break up with your girlfriend and only then you remember why you brought her to the dance in the first place. It was great to see him have a good game.
Loved watching Stutz handle those BcS children in OT. It looked like me posting up a bunch of 5th graders on an 8 foot goal.
This team had 3 non-con losses. VCU is Sweet 16 plus, and UConn and SDSU will go head to head this week. One will end as a sweet 16 team and the other will go Elite 8 plus. We may have played the wrong NCAA teams this year. Games against Mich St U, UAB, and UNLV (instead of UConn, VCU, and SDSU) would have looked like an equal or better schedule going into the season and likely would have resulted in wins and a dance ticket this year. SIU loss is the only one that makes me want to throw up.Livin the dream

They did say Tuesday during the game, they were counting on Virginia Tech winning. The game was scheduled Tuesday night along with the Colorado-Kent St game to be broadcast on espn.
With the womens ncaa tourney game in Wichita on Tuesday, WSU couldn't host that night. It forced the game to Wednesday which really screws up espn.
Espn has 3 games on Monday night. The winners of those 3 games plus Northwestern were suppose to play on Wednesday night.
Now at least one of those teams will now have to turn around and play on Tuesday or espn is going to have to change their schedule to allow for 3 games on Wednesday and only one on Tuesday.
That is why our game time has not been set yet on Wednesday. Espn is scrambling to figure out how to re-juggle their schedule.
