  • We have the same foul disparity after just about every game. I has more to do with our style of play vs the officiating IMO. With the exception of the tech on Rags, I thought the game was called very fair. Some good and bad calls both ways.

I agree FSF. We did get hosed on some calls. The 5th on Allen was because he extended his elbow, and Toure took a lesson from Koch on how to flop. Should it have been a foul? Who knows, but Toure sold it, and that is why it was called.

I don't understand why everyone was so worried about the call or no call on Toure? He had a good play on the ball, and forced a turnover. Worst case is Delaney goes to the line to shoot 2 with 1 second left. I don't know if that guy knows how to miss a FT.

I agree, now it is time to take care of business at home.
Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

        • Toure' did everything possible to avoid contact. Thus, it was a great call, one that my rose color glasses agreed with.

How could anyone in town have an excuse not to go to this game?

Unless you have are having an appendix removed, buy the ticket and get to the joint.

Keep this in mind - As much as it hurts not being in the Big Dance, after today 52 of the original 68 NCAA teams season will be over.

The Shocks are still playing! 8)
Or a national company meeting in Dallas Tuesday-Thursday. But I am getting my 2 tix anyway and someone I know will go. Hey, what a way for a loser like me to count my friends in the next 2 days.

            • I didn't like the Shockers' chances going into this game, I'll admit. Crow never tasted so good. WSU's biggest win since Tennessee five years ago? Does that make it WSU's second biggest win in 20 years?

Nice composure exhitbited by the team. Let's get ready for a tough Coll of Char team coming into Koch.. when? Wednesday?

He did miss 2 this morning, but I wouldn't have wanted to give him a chance, so good point.

Well, I watched my grandmother die yesterday and her funeral is Wednesday.

So that could be one excuse.

But we may still try and go to the game afterward.

Yes! GM pulled a Gene Stephenson (OU), Dana Altman (Arkansas) a few moons ago.

You, him, her, everybody. I like basketball, but baseball is my second favorite sport (football first). Work is going to tough starting out the week and I need a 4-1 Shox to get me started out right. I'm sure all of you could use a nice mood lifter too.

FSF - You can't mean it! It's heresy to love the Cardinals AND the Yankees.
