I now know why KU & K State won't play WSU. It very well may be a good thing a parade of BcS schools aren't coming in here to stink up the joint. Too many opponents like that & WSU's attendance figures will take a beating.
Nice cheerleaders though, real nice dance squad!
You bet. Sure beats the tie-dyed crew we put out there at halftime, huh?
Not much of a comparison. From just a simple dude standpoint, they were quite pleasant. But I don't think they had a clue what the pa or band was going to play, but they worked it out. Not much love was given for an opposing squad. But great all around.
I liked the idea in the post game show of a series vs Colo. With them going to the Pac 10 or 12, Boyle could maintain a midwest presence. I would hope Boyle is fond of WSU. he would certainly receive a warm welcome here.
I figure that we just had a 27-year curse put on us.
For every point of the final margin, it will be (at least) one year before Nebraska will ever give us the opportunity to play them.
They'll need at that long to make sure everyone forgets about us and what we're capable of.
So don't expect our red neigbors from the north to pick up the phone when we try to call anytime soon. Maybe my great grandkids will get the rare opportunity to see them.............
The 27-point margin of defeat was the fourth-worst in Sadler’s 160 games at Nebraska, and his worst ever against a nonconference foe.
The fact that it came one day after he received a two-year contract extension added to Sadler’s long night. And that the man who administered the extension, Athletic Director Tom Osborne, was behind the bench.

awkward......... :(
How could this be possible? Don't they play KU 2 times every year and Texas once...not to mention OU has been very good in the past and KSU and MU recently? Our blowout couldn't have been the 4th best...we're just a lowly MVC team, the worst B12 team would finish in the top half of the MVC any year.
I could care less about NU. I'd much rather see the Shockers play a Butler, Western Kentucky, George Mason etc. than a Nebraska. There's several non BCS schools that are usually pretty good that I'd like to see the Shockers trying to schedule.

Is that nine really ALL the girls from Nebraska that weigh in under 200 pounds?
