Anyone have TV broadcast info, if any? I'll add it to the countdown once its known.

I'm Lutheran and our church has Saturday night services also. Both Lutherans and Catholics are alike except we don't pray and confess our sins to "false idols" like Mary, Fathers, etc. We do however like to drink

VT giving us quite a bit of respect on their message board tonight. They actually feel they don't match up well with us right now as they have some injuries so they play a pretty small lineup.

I'm neither and my church has Saturday night services also. It's getting to be a more common theme anymore.

My little church barely has enough people to have one Sunday morning service.

They should, if for no other reason than they lost twice to a Virginia team we played at full strength and emptied our bench against.

I have no misconceptions about going on the road in 3 days, during the tournament, playing on a Sunday morning in a hostile environment against a really good ACC team who has a chip on their shoulder because of a perceived NCAA snub while 5 fan bases scattered across the country squeal like stuck pigs in hopes that their AD inks our coach to a contract before the end of the day.

But at some point, if we're going to be as good as we expect, as good as many of us think we deserve, we have to start paying attention NOT to the name across the chest and INSTEAD to the man in the uniform.

Virginia Tech has a nice team, a really good coach, and good history. You know what? So do we. And if our guys play anywhere near their capability, I'll take our chances.

Here's the deal. Our Shocks will have to do some Hokie Pokie and turn ourselves around, that's what it's all about on Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. This NIT game will require our A game to win. Otherwise just pack it up and close the curtains for another Season. The Hokies are use to very tough competition. The Shocks have played better on the road this Season.

Don Hall said the game was on Saturday (he said that on his morning radio show).

With Rev. Garrett Stutz on our side, how can we lose a Sunday morning game?

                              That was definitely uncalled for.

With that said, I'm pentecostal and we have Saturday services as well.

Not the most user friendly message board layout. Makes one grateful for what we haver here at ShockerNet.

Since the thread has developed a highly religious tone let's hope the Shocks are not satisfied with one good game and that they have adopted a "Mission From God" attitude that Jake and Elwood would be proud of.

Maybe that can find an Evangelical church with a Rev. Cleophus James for some divine inspiration.
