The team we saw tonight was the team that we had hoped to see all year. They were splendid. They couldn't have been better. Kudos to the entire coaching staff and players.

As far as execution and excellence are concerned, every player will have this game to remember for the rest of their lives.

Shame on all you fair weather fans! Should have your season tickets taken away. Because you didn't come there were Nebraska fans sitting down low where they shouldn't have been sitting. That shouldn't happen in our house.

I gave the ticket office the idea to reward season ticket holders with bonus saso points for games like this and even road games so that fair weather can then be bounced up to the top where they belong.

          I've also thought about this...

I think WSU should reward tickets/seats for being used. Every time your ticket is scanned at the door, it should be noted in a database. At the end of the year, the tickets which aren't used by whomever are made obvious by the times the ticket(seat) was used.

At the end of the season, the fans whom used their tickets the least are then put in the back of the waiting line for season tickets the next season...

If any of that made sense... lol

The scan bonus is a great idea! That might reward me for the lackluster performances I sat through this year. I also made sure my tickets don't go unused when I am unable to attend.

Since I have now been deemed a "fair-weather fan", does that mean that the folks who show up once or twice a year can cover my SASO donations and other contributions?

You might also want to consider that some of our elderly "fair-weather fans", have been life long supporters who occasionally experience health problems that prevent them from attending all the time. Not to mention, the weather and parking situations that sometimes affect them.

Perhaps this could all be worked out but be careful what you ask for...you might get it, without figuring out all the consequences!

You don't need to worry about taking my season tickets away. I had already decided to let someone else enjoy the games next year.

I still have a lot of after effects from the chemo and radiation (mostly the chemo any more) and I concluded that I was just getting too exhausted by the end of the week when there were two home games in the week.

You might want to check what's down range before you fire off your "fair weather fans" cannon.

You know, i left Koch for the two-hour drive home just as happy as I could be. The feeling that we played super was outstanding. That we did it against the kNU fuskers made it even more outstanding.

This morning I looked at our season stats compared to last night's game.

                  ........... Last night .. Season
                  FG% .. 46.2% .. 46.4%
                  3-Pt %.. 42.3% .. 35.2%
                  FT% .. 85.0% .. 74.4%
                  Reb .. 34 .. 37.4
                  Ass't %. 75.0% .. 59.5%

Applying the season shooting percentages to the attempts last night would have generated 7.5 fewer points. In other words, a 20-point schnockering instead of a 27-point schlobber-knocking of the cornholers.
